Abstract

The St. Maurice delta sector is found in the south-east of Quebec, a little northeastern of Montreal. The sector includes the cities of Trois-Rivières and Shawinigan. It is bounded south by the St. Lawrence River and in north by the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve and the Mauricie National Park. It is divided into six hydrogeological units, based on hydrostratigraphic context including the water table conditions. The dataset is complete, describing in details the geology, groundwater flow, hydraulic proprieties, threats, aquifer vulnerability, recharge and discharge, and groundwater quality. The dataset is a summary of data and hydrogeological information for all aquifers, aquifer systems and hydrogeological contexts of St. Maurice delta project.
